Telangana Survey: Andhra Pradesh Chief secretary not enumerated, no pre-survey for mayor

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh chief secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao’s family members kept waiting for the enumerators to turn up, but his family was one among the thousands that failed to be enumerated on Tuesday. 

 

“Several calls were made to the helpline. However, not one official turned up,” complained Mr Rao. 

 

Several other IAS officers working for the Andhra Pradesh government too were not enumerated. Ironically, pre-survey 2 (for collection of check slips) was not conducted at the house of Hyderabad Mayor Majid Hussain. 

 

Meanwhile, in view of the holiday declared for the enumerators who participated in the Intensive Household Survey-2014, the Telengana government has declared a public holiday on August 20. 

 

Meanwhile though it was a working day for the Aandhra Pradesh Secretariat, very few employees turned up.
