Girl saved from realtor

Hyderabad:An eight-year-old girl  was rescued from the house of businessman and real estate dealer Venugopal Reddy from Akbarbagh on Monday night. Officials from the labour department raided his residence to rescue the child.

The victim, Sangeetha, who hails from Jadcherla is said to have been working at the house for more than a year now. However, the owner said that she was just hired. Post rescue, the girl was taken to Government Home for Girls, Nimboli Adda, where she is undergoing counselling.  A case has been filed against the employer.
