Vinayak to direct Chiranjeevi

Hyderabad: It’s official. Director V.V. Vinayak is going to direct Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. Speculations were rife since the last few months about who is going to direct the milestone film. Vinayak confirmed the news that he will be directing it.

According to a source, the subject of the film is still under discussion. The movie may officially launch on August 22, on Chiranjeevi’s birthday. Recently, Vinayak’s film Alludu Seenu was specially screened for Chiranjeevi,  the actor lauded  the director for a good film with a debutant. At the same time, Chiranjeevi asked Vinayak to direct his 150th film.

“This is like a comeback for Chiranjeevi after a long break. He will be under great pressure and  Vinayak is the best to handle this kind of pressure and that’s why he was chosen,” says a source. Both Chiranjeevi and Vinayak have worked  together  earlier for the blockbuster film Tagore. Ram Charan has already announced  that he will produce his father’s 150th film.
