It was reported that Kukkiwon was very impressed with Tiger’s action sequences and martial arts abilities that he performed in his first movie.
He was also given the honour of presenting the Taekwondo masters with gifts.
Tiger went on to show the young kids a few more moves after which he was called on stage to present awards.
Now that deserves a thumbs up!
He was even presented with a certificate from the academy.
The head of the Kukkiwon presented him with the traditional Taekwondo suit before tying the black belt around his waist.
After completing the tasks successfully, Tiger performed a small 'happy dance'. A lesser known fact is that Tiger Bboys in the morning, before working out.
He even had to break a wood block with a single flying kick.
There was no 'special' treatment for a taekwondo warrior it seems as the actor did have to perform some essential moves to prove his worthiness.
His role in the action packed 'Heropanti' (that was also his Bollywood debut) earned him the honour from Kukkiwon, which is the official taekwondo governing organisation established by the South Korean government.
Tiger was welcomed by the taekwondo masters and his students. As soon as he walked into the hall he was showered with flower petals and seems very pleased with the gesture.
The multi-talented actor received an an honorary 5th degree black belt award in Taekwondo at an event held in Mumbai on Wednesday.
