Experts were specially flown down from Israel to train her in Krav Maga

Mumbai:  Rani Mukerji, who trained and learned Krav Maga- an Israeli form of self defence for her  upcoming film ‘Mardaani’ has come out with a series of videos to teach women basic self defence techniques.

Krav Maga is a martial art and self-defence system developed for the military in Israel. It consists of a wide combination of techniques mainly sourced from Muay Thai, Judo, wrestling, Jujutsu, grappling and much more.

Rani underwent special training for ‘Mardaani’, experts were specially flown down from Israel to train her.

Rani will portray the role of Shivani Shivaji Roy, a tough female cop who deals with the sensitive subject of human trafficking in India. We can’t wait to see the actress showcase her new Krav Maga skills in the film.

The film is slated to release on August 22.
