One dies in Assam bomb blast

Guwahati: Suspected rebels of the Ulfa triggered a powerful IED blast in which owner of a tea shop was killed and three others including a minor were critically injured near Krishnai police station of Goalpara district on Wednesday. Police said that the IED was planted in a bicycle Security sources said intelligence agencies had alerted the Goalpara district police about the plan of Ulfa to target the security forces.
