No cops present on train

The accused women were caught by police at Begumpet railway station

Hyderabad: A woman TTE was beaten up by women passengers for asking them to show their tickets.
 
After assaulting the TTE, the accused women got down at Begumpet railway station, where the police traced two of them. Officials said that there were no police officials in the coach when the incident occurred.
 
The accused were identified as Rokala Kumari, 45, and V. Padma, 20.
 
“They were on their way to a relative’s house in Madhapur for a wedding ceremony. They came to Secunderabad by an early morning train from Vijayawada, and were going to Hitec City,” a police official said.
 
Police has booked a case against the accused women for assaulting and deterring a public servant from discharging her duty.
