Six held in Mathura rape case

Accused arrested have been identified as Manoj, Guddu, Danno, Ramveer, Shekhar and Mahesh

Lucknow: The police has arrested all six accused in the alleged gang-rape of an 18-year-old girl in Pingari village in Mathura district.

Special Superintendent of police P. Nitin Tewari said that while five of the accused were arrested from near the Kurkanda village crossing under Farah police station when they were attempting to flee the village, the sixth accused was nabbed late in the night.

The accused arrested have been identified as Manoj, Guddu, Danno, Ramveer, Shekhar and Mahesh.

It may be recalled that on July 19 the incident took place. An FIR was lodged on July 20.
