Mumbai: Bhuvaneshwar Kumar became the first ever no. 9 batsman to register three fifties in a Test series. However, at Lord's on Sunday, his 50-run celebration was in no way to match Ravindra Jadeja's.

In one of the Plunkett's over, "the Sir", as he is known, was seen twirling his bat several times when he reached his first Test fifty. His unique way of this celebration reminded the commentators of Saurashtra fighters moving swords during their battles.

Back home, when Jadeja was nearing 50, his sister, Naina had changed her status message on WhatsApp to "Phir Ithihas Rachne Ki Bari Aayi" (now time to write history).

Speaking exclusively over her mobile from Rajkot, she says, "all my customers will be served free ice cream of their preferred flavours at our restaurant (Jaddus Food Field) today."

We had hoped for his hundred at Lord's and the way he was playing today, we thought his name would be written on Honours Board."

"Me and my mom watched the match and were very excited with this knock. All goes to his hard work and dedication. I had decided to throw party to all our friends had he reached his first hundred."

"Anyhow, his first fifty is also a good one and we were waiting for it since so long", she signed off.
