Poornima plays mother to her own son in Vaaimai

Chennai: Poornima Bhagyaraj will now join the sets of Vaaimai, which has her son, Shanthanoo, in the lead. Directed by Senthil Kumar, the film is   said to be about the story of a convict in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination. Sources say that, Poornima Bhagyaraj, who has not been seen in films for a while, will now essay the role of Shanthanoo’s mother. Being his mother in real life, she is excited about the role. Veteran comedian Goundamani is also playing a crucial role in the film.
