Ahmedabad: BJP leader Amit Shah is elected as the President of the Gujarat Cricket Association.

Previously, the post was held by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who resigned from the post in May.

About 10 days back, it had been hinted that Shah, who is considered the most trusted aide of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would be the next to helm the cricket association.
