New Delhi: CBSE has from this year brought in a provision for the ‘revaluation’ of answer scripts. According to a statement, only candidates applying for verification of marks will be eligible to apply for a photocopy of evaluated answer books and those obtaining such photocopies then will be eligible to seek revaluation in the identified subject.

“Only those candidates who apply for verification of marks and for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer books can apply for revaluation of a maximum of 10 questions each in the subjects of English Core, Functional English, English Elective, Hindi Core, Hindi Elective, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies, Economics and Accountancy,” it said in a statement.

The practice so far of applying for verification of marks at designated schools has been done away with, as applications for verification will now be received online only. Applications should be made online within seven days from May 30 to June 5. The fee will be Rs 300 per subject.
