Campaigning for 7th phase ends

On Wednesday, 89 seats in 7 states and 2 Union Territories are scheduled for voting

New Delhi: Campaigning for the seventh phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha polls ended on Monday in which 89 seats in seven states and two Union Territories are scheduled for voting on Wednesday.

Electoral fate of several political bigwigs will be decided in this phase which includes Congress president Sonia Gandhi from Rae Bareli and BJP’s PM nominee Narendra Modi from Vadodara.

Other senior political leaders whose future will be decided in this phase include, L.K. Advani from Gandhinagar, Arun Jaitley from Amritsar,  Rajnath Singh from Lucknow and Uma Bharati from Jhansi among others.
