Walk a mile and rest a while to stay fit
Walking and Swimming is one of the easiest ways to stay healthy
Walking is one of the easiest ways to stay healthy. I regularly visit the nearest park for a brisk walk of around 45-50 minutes. I hate weight-training exercises, though I know it is a great way to strengthen one’s muscles.
Besides, I indulge in intense cardio which is effective in increasing the heart rate and enhancing body metabolism. To add an extra zing to my workout routine, I try and swim daily, depending on my shooting schedules. It helps improve flexibility and body posture apart from scraping away the small layers of cholesterol. I love doing pilates and am also a huge zumba fan. Cycling around my campus is yet another activity that keeps me fit.
There is no specific diet chart that I adhere to but I’m a smart eater. I ensure that I eat every two hours but in small quantities. I have a major sweet tooth so, I have to be extra-cautious about the sweet content that I consume. And whenever I eat French fries/fried cutlets, I always balance it with a cup of green tea. During shoot-breaks on the sets, I ask for a simple thali with fresh salads to stay energised throughout the day.
