Mumbai: Raj Kumar Gupta is adapting celebrated writer Chetan Bhagat’s fifth book, ‘Revolution 2020’ into a film. The story, which deals with love and corruption, has been read by millions, and is now set to hit the silver screen. The director has finalized national award winner Rajkumar Rao to play the role of Gopal. For the leading lady, Myra Karn, who won loads of accolades for her potrayal of Jessica in 'No One Killed Jessica' has been finalized, Bombay Times reported.

Strangely, after ' No One Killed Jessica', Myra had not taken up any assignments. Rumour has it that the director started dating Myra during the shooting of the film and are still going strong. After 'Ghanchakkar', Rajkumar had planned a film titled 'Rapchik Romance' with her in the lead. Though that was put on hold, this time around, for 'Revolution 2020', he has convinced the studio to cast her as the heroine.

The book has three main protagonists, Raghav, Gopal and Aarti. In the book Raghav and Gopal are childhood friends and Aarti is the girl who becomes the ‘third wheel’ in Raghav and Gopal’s friendship.
