Second time Lucky for Supriya Shailja

Rushi, her first Tollywood film, might not have been a hit but Supriya Shailja managed to bag another project Weekend Love, which is going to release soon. Originally from Patna, Supriya shifted base to Mumbai a few years ago. “I keep shuttling between Mumbai and wherever my shoots take me,” she says.

Talking about Weekend Love, she says, “I play a Bengali girl who works in an IT company. We have shot extensively in and around Hyderabad.” 

She admits that she hasn’t quite got the hang of Telugu. She laughs, “I can’t understand or speak Telugu. I ask for the script in advance, ask someone to explain the scenes and practise the emotions.”
