It also promised to give pensions to the kin of Telangana martyrs, and a job to a family member and ex gratia to each family. For this, the party promised to set up the rs 100 crore Jayashankar Trust.

Mr Ramesh commented that the TRS manifesto looks like “diwala” and Congress manifesto like “Diwali”.
Among its promises, the manifesto says it will pay Telangana staff the entire salary for the Sakala Janula Samme strike period. The party promised to recruit one lakh unemployed youth within a year and fill backlog vacancies in two years. Another one lakh unemployed youth would get jobs in each district in public or private sector or by promoting self employment over the next five years.
