April 10, 2014: Twitter has decided to redesign and introduce an improved web profile for its users. Its homepage is a clear indicator of its theme ‘a whole new you’, which aims at creating user-friendly twitter profiles.

‘The new web profile lets you use a larger profile photo and customize your header as well,’ stated its official blog.
The newly added visual elements on Twitter will help its users to prioritise tweets accordingly.

Tweets which receive the maximum viewership will appear larger on the homepage and be added to the ‘Best Tweets’ category. This feature will help users to find their best content easily.

Users can also pin tweets right on the top of their homepage and will be added to the ‘Pinned Tweet’ category. This feature will help one’s followers what does one to convey through the top-most tweet.

Its ‘Filtered Tweets’ will enable one to choose which timeline to view when checking out other profiles. Select from these options: Tweets, Tweets with photos/videos, or Tweets and replies.
