Mumbai: Going by Feng Shui symbolism, it is likely that Jana Sena Party's election symbol, the Star, may not shine too brightly against other stronger (party) symbols like the Sun or the Car or the Bicycle, because, in relative terms, the Star lacks speed and momentum.

The Star in this symbol is emblazoned with the colours red and white. This is not a Star of Magi or any other lucky symbol, so the Jana Sena Party may not prove to be a front-runner. Nonetheless, its sheen will definitely attract a section of voters, during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The Star symbol also has many sharp angles and edges, which might indicate that in the future, or even during the elections, the party may be plagued by differences among its leaders and workers. The angles and edges in a symbol are not a good indication as per Feng Shui symbolism, especially when it's about dealing with the general populace.
