Bollywood actor, Siddharth Malhotra.

I’m a quintessential Punjabi boy who loves his food with all his heart. So the onus lies on my trainer to keep a continuous check on my weight and whenever I do tend to overeat, I make sure to sweat it out to burn double the calories.

I have a compulsive sweet tooth, so that is something I have started to control as I must look good and fit enough to be a hero on screen. However, when I can’t really resist the sweets,

I opt for the healthier options like dark chocolates and gelato, though I absolutely love Indian sweets, chocolates and ice-creams and occasionally, I do have on them in small quantities. I have also reduced my intake of non-veg meals, which again has been pretty tough, considering my Punjabi genes (smiles)!

Since I have always been into sports, so that has helped me keep fit despite suffering a couple of injuries. Hence my trainer plans out my workout regime accordingly. I enjoy sports like football whenever I get time, which is why I sorely miss the open-air grounds of Delhi, now that I am in Mumbai for professional reasons.

I work out around four days a week at the gym and my fitness routine keeps changing as per the character am essaying in the movies. Otherwise, a normal workout would be weight training, cardio and treadmill.
