RLD lodges complaint against Hema Malini's advertisement

Lucknow: The Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against actress Hema Malini, the BJP candidate from Mathura.
 
RLD general secretary Anil Dubey has written to the EC demanding a ban on Ms Hema Malini’s advertisements appearing on TV channels.
 
The RLD leader has mentioned , in particular, the advertisement of a water purifier in which the actress is seen.
 
According to Mr Dubey’s complaint,  the advertisement repeatedly appears in a range of television channels and in newspapers and magazines which amounts to campaigning and should be considered a violation of the model code of conduct and should be included in Ms Hema Malini’s election expenses.
