Director duo Abbas-Mustan has signed the Race actor for their next thriller
Every filmmaker in the industry prefers to work with actors they vibe with. Some even tend to lean towards actors who they consider their lucky mascots. In early ’90s, director duo Abbas-Mustan used to place their bets on Akshay Kumar. Then came a series of films they did with Bobby Deol.
Now it appears that Abbas-Mustan has shifted their focus. Buzz is that the director duo has signed Saif Ali Khan for the new thriller that is touted to be their next big film.
“Currently, Saif is busy wrapping up Humshakals, Phantom and Happy Ending. He has committed to Abbas-Mustan’s film and will start shooting by the end of this year,” says a source close to the actor.
"Saif has been given a detailed narration of the script. He has always had immense faith in Abbas-Mustan’s vision. So he is looking forward to starting work on the film,” the source says.
As of now, no actress has been approached for the film yet.
Looks like after the success of the Race franchise, the filmmakers have established a perfect equation with Saif. As far as his leading lady, guess we’ll have to wait and watch.
