Hyderabad: Opposing any and every form of dynastic politics across the state, the Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday released names of another 20 families from Coastal Andhra and nine families from Rayalaseema who have been concentrating power within their familial units.

“It is no wonder then that no other political party is talking about this because the biggest leaders in all the main parties of the state are practicing dynastic politics. We have shortlisted the most controlling families, so the list doesn’t include many political families which have lesser influence,” said Ramakri-shna Raju, convenever, state campaigning committee, AAP.

The AAP members stated that political families’ exert control not just by the use of money but also through crime to such an extent that for any new party to hold a rally is risky in many areas. “Dyn-astic politics is intertw-ined with family-run businesses, looting public wea-lth and they use people and sentiments to elevate themselves in their political career. The political fa-milies have huge businesses,” said Bellaiah Nayak, member, Telangana Regi-onal Committee, AAP.
