KPCC IT cell holds first meet

Thiruvananthapuram: The first meeting of KPCC IT cell, consisting of top IT professionals from Wipro and Infosys, focused on tapping the social media networking sites for the  Lok Sabha election campaign.

According to IT cell chairman Ranjith Balan, within the next one month, district committees of the IT cell will be formed. KPCC chief Ramesh Chennithala will pass on the list to all DCC presidents and the  respective district committees will start their programmes aggressively.  “Only 60 percent of the members of the IT cell are from the corporate world,” said Balan, a director board member of Technopark.

Among the 12 members of the cell, the only woman   is Anu Anna Jacob, a KSU activist and a management graduate.  Other members are Aju Salim of Infosys and Sudheer Mohan of  Wipro Dr. Ajith Kumar, financial  consultant, Jobin Thomas, representing the NGO ‘Open Space’, Dileep Senapathy, Habeeb Khan, Pratheesh Kumar, Sudheer Mohan, A. Unnikrishnan, Eldho Babu Vattakkavil and Shajan Chengannur.
