Believe in god to fulfil wishes: Jaya

Chennai: “Believe in god wholehe­ar­tedly and you may pur­s­ue your wish,” chief mi­nister J. Jayalalithaa em­phasised after participating at a Christmas celebration held by her pa­rty’s minority wing at the Nandambakkam trade centre.

Addressing the gala event attended by members of Christian associations and party cadres, she recalled the significance of celebrating Chr­is­tmas and reiterated the preaching of Jesus Ch­rist.

She also narrated a story of a blind person, an amputee and hideous man who sought for relief from their disabilities to a priest. State ministers, MPs and party office be­arers also took part in the Christmas celebration.
