Kollam: Shalu Menon, actress and dancer, told the Sessions Court here on Thursday that Biju Radhakrishnan seemed to be a good man initially and she didn’t know that he was an accused in the Resmi murder case.

She had known him only for the last nine months, she told the court during the murder trial involving  Biju Radhakrishnan and Saritha S. Nair.

Shalu said she came to know more about him through the media  after the solar scam broke out. She said Biju had misled her saying Saritha was  his wife.

Shalu met Biju when he  approached her to act in an advertisement film, introducing himself as R.B. Nair.

She also admitted that they had together travelled to Chennai four times and added that  it was a  mistake to have done so.

Shalu Menon, one of the accused in the solar case, had received bail after spending  50 days in jail.
