Hyderabad: With exactly 30 days left for the Parliament to pass the T Bill in the ensuing winter session, which will conclude on December 20, the Group of Ministers on Telangana are busy, even on Wednesday, in giving the final shape to the draft T Bill.

The Union Cabinet’s scheduled meet on Thursday has been postponed as several Union Ministers are out on election campaigning in five states.

This development also gave some more breathing time for the Group of Ministers, on Telangana, who are in their final efforts to give a shape to the draft T Bill. “We may have two or three sittings more to complete the process and put before the next Cabinet meeting,”?Union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde told media persons.

But another member of the GoM, Jai Ram Ramesh, who has been specifically entrusted the job of looking into all the legal and Constitutionality involved in the process has on Wednesday said, “In all probability tomorrow’s GoM is the last one to give final shape to bill before it goes to Cabinet.”

Whatever their conflicting statements, GoM will finalise everything and likely to place before the Core Committee meeting on Friday for a ‘final nod’ from the UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi. Though the GoM members are available for the last minute efforts declined to disclose the contents to Seemandhra and Telangana leaders.
