Vaigha is in a dilemma as to what she should do to please her directors.

With four movies lined up for release, the actress says it's very tough to deal with the pressure to always look good.

“Initially, a director with whom I was working said 'Vaigha, you should lose weight. You are in such a bad shape!' I was hardly 58 kgs, but I worked on my weight. When the shooting was about to start, the very same director said, 'You are so thin. You should put on some weight to look better!' Now, whether I should put on weight or not is the question I keep asking myself," she says, chuckling.

However, the actress is going strong with her career. “I play an ordinary girl-next-door in 'Salaam Kashmir' , directed by Joshiy, and Natarangu. I have also acted in the movie 'Life Full Of Life' directed by Vinod, but I only had to do few scenes and a song. I have also finished shoot for my Tamil movie 'Manam Nilluna Nikkathedi' and am waiting to complete the dubbing," says Vaigha.

Vaigha has recently gained much popularity with her acting in the short film 'Kuliscene', which is a huge hit on YouTube. “People don't really notice or identify me because of my roles. But the short film got me more feedback than I have ever received for my films. I don't have any plans to do more short films and am happy with what I have done. My focus is on movies," she adds.

The pressure is more on the women than men in the film industry. “With actors, how they look is not as important as it is for actresses. Even pimples are not forgiven. It is tough being an actress!" she concludes.
