Tamanna focuses on Mahesh starrer

Even though Tammana is in demand in Tollywood and her last release 'Thadaka' tasted success, she hasn't signed any Telugu films this year. According to a source, she wants to concentrate on 'Aagadu', her film with Mahesh Babu.

Her manager also rubbishes reports of Tammana being paired opposite Gopichand. “That's not true. She hasn't signed any Telugu films and at present, she is only acting with Mahesh Babu in 'Aagadu'," he says.

In fact, the 'Himmatwala' girl was supposed to pair up with Mahesh Babu in '1', but she couldn't spare dates for the film. The producers then roped in newcomer Kriti Sanom. But since Tammana had promised to do their next film, she signed on for 'Aagadu' and committed bulk dates for the shooting. The film will go on the floors at the end of this month, and is aiming to hit the screens next year.

Director Srinu Vaitla has crafted Tamanna's character in a different way, the source adds.

This is the first time that she's starring opposite Mahesh.
