Indian-Americans asked to join India's development plans
Indian govt's flagship programmes would give a big boost to the growth trajectory of country, said Consul General of Indian Consulate.
Washington: A top Indian official in Chicago has asked the Indian-American community in the city to participate in the development-centric initiatives by the Indian government.
Indian government’s flagship programmes as "Make in India", "Skills India", "Swatch Bharat Abhiyan", "Digital India", "Startup India", and "Green India" would give a big boost to the growth trajectory of the country, said Ausaf Sayeed, Consul General of Indian Consulate in Chicago.
Addressing a large gathering during the Republic Day celebrations on Tuesday, Sayeed called upon the Indian-Americans to proactively participate in all the ambitious development-centric initiatives of the government of India.
