ISIS could soon print 3D guns for £100, fears US

Cody Wilson, an American crypto-anarchist, could put lives of thousands of Britons at risk by supplying 3D printing skill to ISIS.

Washington: Islamic State group could soon use 3D printing technology to print 3D guns that would merely cost them £100, risking the lives of millions.

Listed among the world's most dangerous people, Cody R Wilson, an American crypto-anarchist and gun-rights activist, could put the lives of thousands of Britons at risk by supplying the 3D printing skill to ISIS terrorists.

Cody was held responsible for publicly boasting about his world’s first printable plastic weapon, which may be available within a few weeks. Fears have grown that ISIS may take advantage of this technology to launch Paris-style attacks on UK.

Even as US beefed up its security to battle against terrorism, Texas-based Cody might just hand over the 3D gun-printing technology to terrorists.

All that is needed to produce a 3D gun is a printer worth £15,000 and some raw materials that cost £100, says Cody.

Revealing his scorn for terror group’s potential targets, Cody said that he does not care if these weapons land in the hands of the terrorist groups. The crypto-anarchist has already developed a Liberator pistol along with an AR-15 rifle.

Cody’s motive is to let anyone create a deadly 3D weapon with just the click of a button.

An American magazine has also named Cody Wilson as one of the most dangerous people in the world. He has been ranked fifth most dangerous person on the Internet, placing him after North Korea’s Supremo Kim Jong-Un.
