Abhay started his career as a cinematographer and joined ‘Siruthai’ Siva as an assistant.
Abhinaya, who made an impressive debut in Nadodigal, was later seen in films like 7 Aam Arivu, Shamitabh and others. Assistant director-turned-actor Abhay Krishnaa has now roped in the beautiful girl as the lead heroine for his upcoming comedy flick Adeda Mhelam.
Abhay started his career as a cinematographer and joined ‘Siruthai’ Siva as an assistant. “I always wanted appear in front of the camera and when director Anbu approached me with a comedy script, I decided to plunge into acting, besides producing it,” Abhay tells DC. He adds, “I play a crafty wedding planner, and get to meet the character played by Abhinaya in an interesting turn of events. What happens between us and how I step in to resolve some issues, forms the rest.”
Heaping praises on Abhinaya, he says, “Though we had couple of other options for the female lead, I felt Abhinaya will fit the bill. She is hardworking and dedicated. She used to rehearse before coming to the shoot.” Urvasi, Mayilsamy and Jayaprakash form the supporting cast. The highlight of the film is a ‘gana’ song which has been rendered by Gana Bala.
