Jobless Telangana youths drawn to ISIS: Union Minister Ahir
Hyderabad: Union minister of state Hansraj Gangaram Ahir on Wednesday alleged that jobless youths from Hyderabad were being drawn towards the ISIS due to the failure of the TRS government to create employment opportunities.
He also said TRS and MIM have forged a secret pact in the GHMC polls, notwithstanding the claim by both of going alone.
“Recently, three youths from Hyderabad were arrested at Nagpur when they were on their way to join the ISIS. It’s a very serious matter. Do the youth need jobs or want to turn criminals? It’s a challenge to the country,” Mr Ahir said.
“The duty of the government is to provide employment opportunities, not turn youths into criminals,” he said.
“MIM is running a goonda raj in Hyderabad. We have to face them. Our ladies have come forward like Jhansi ki Rani. TRS leaders here pray for the Nizam and offer prayers to him whereas we carry photos and pray for Sardar Patel,” Mr Ahir said.
He inaugurated a BJP election office at Nallakunta and also addressed a series of meetings at Ghansi Bazar, Musheerabad, Jiyaguda along with BJP leaders.
