Mumbai: Farhan Akhtar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Bejoy Nambiar attended the star studded screening of their film in Mumbai on Wednesday. The special screening saw a number of familiar faces from the film industry and few close friends and family in attendance.
Missing on the scene was Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The actor, couldn’t attend the screening because he is currently busy shooting his next film ‘TE3N’ in Kolkata. However, Amitabh held a private screening last weekend that was attended by his wife Jaya and daughter Shweta.
The thriller that hits theatres this Friday, has been directed by Bejoy Nambiar and co-written by Abhijat Joshi and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It has been jointly produced by the ‘PK’ duo Vidhu and Rajkumar Hirani.
Stars like Kangana Ranaut, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, Raveena Tandon, Chunkey Pandey, Bhavna Pandey, Dino Morea, Sharma Joshi, and Riteish Sidhwani attended the screening.
Vidhu, who was all smiles at the event, made sure to greet all his guests and pose with them for a few photographs.
The film’s young director was happy for all the positive responses he was getting. When asked about his future plans, Bejoy said, "Well, right now the focus is just on 'Wazir'. So let that come out and let people watch it. I am working on other stuff too. But first priority is 'Wazir'".
