The Bollywood star won her first International People's Choice award for 'Quantico'.
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who made her international television debut in ‘Quantico’, won her first international award at the People’s Choice Award in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The actress was nominated for the People’s Choice Awards’ Favourite Actress in a New TV Series for the American thriller. PC, who plays the role of Alex Parrish, a rookie FBI recruit with a mysterious past, was the first Indian actress to bag a leading role in an international television series.

Priyanka, who was last seen in the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Bajirao Mastani’, sparkled and shined as she walked down the red carpet in a metallic dress, silver shoes and her hair tied neatly in an updo.
The actress received her award from Hollywood action star Vin Diesel. Priyanka was up against Hollywood actresses Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele and Marcia Gay Harden.

Accepting her award, Priyanka said, "I would like to thank everyone who voted for Quantico. My first year in America and to come to another country and get this kind of acceptance is I guess what America is all about. So thank you for accepting me."
After receiving her award, the actress headed backstage for a photoshoot with her trophy. Priyanka, was quick to send out a thank you message to all her fans who voted for her. Her note read: I am so fortunate!Thank U to everyone who voted for me at the #PCAs! My #PCManiacs-I am nothing without you!Big love.
People’s Choice Awards is the only major awards show, that picks its winner from films, music and television, based on votes drawn in entirely by the public or fans.
