Kamal and Shruti to share the screen!
Kamal Haasan has so far steered clear of any screen appearances with his daughter Shruti.
It’s well known that Kamal Haasan has so far steered clear of any screen appearances with his daughter Shruti. Whenever he was asked in interviews if both of them would do any films together, he used to say, ‘A good script has to fall in place. I don’t want her to do it just for the heck of it’, and so on.
The actor has put an end to this longtime buzz! Yes, it’s been confirmed that the father-daughter duo will team up for Amma Appa Vilaiyaatu. Sources say, “We will get a clear picture of how things are going be only post January 15. The other details of the film, including the cast and crew will be made official soon.”
Meanwhile, a little birdie tells us that this TK Rajeev Kumar multi-lingual will be made in four languages — Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. If this project materialises, it would bring Kamal and Rajeev together after 26 years.
Their last outing was the critically acclaimed Chanakyan. We had already reported that actress Amala Akkineni and Zarina Wahab are a part of film, which will have its shooting soon, in and around New York and Georgia. We hear that the film will be made under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International and the lead technicians would be from the US.
