Rajiv Gandhi International Airport stops entry of visitors

Visitors will not be allowed to enter the airport for between a week and 10 days.

Hyderabad: Following the high alert sounded by the Union home ministry after the ongoing terrorist attack on an Indian Air Force base in Pathankot, Punjab, the entry of visitors into the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad has been stopped. Visitors will not be allowed to enter the airport for between a week and 10 days. Visitors will be allowed inside the airport to send off their family members, relatives and friends and colleagues only after clearance from the Intelligence agencies. Security has been been tightened at the airport and other vital installations in the city following the terror attack in Punjab.
