Hyderabad: The Telangana State government is all set to shower sops on the realty sector in a day or two. Sops such as reduction in NALA charges, impact fee, VAT, single window clearance for realty projects among others are likely to be announced.
There has been a long-pending demand from the realty sector for these sops and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had promised to implement them on numerous occasions. These sops are aimed at giving a fillip to the realty sector especially in HMDA limits and to encourage skyscrapers in the city.
The Telangana Cabinet which met on Saturday discussed all these issues and gave its nod for realty sops. However, the state has kept the official announcement on hold.
