Family did not lodge police complaint
The family of a boy who was injured when a toy car hit him and dragged him for a few metres did not lodge a police complaint as his father Ram Babu, an IT professional in Singapore, had to catch a flight in the night.
According to the police, Krishna and his parents were heading to the toy car ticket counter when the incident occurred.
“Though a few people noticed him crossing and alerted the operators to stop the machine, they could not do it instantly,” said Saifabad police sub-inspector V. Venkata Narayanan.
Lumbini Park officials said necessary precautions had been taken for the toy cars and the child had entered the restricted area when nobody was noticing.
