It was just last week that we told you all about how an angry Sunny Deol stomped off the Bigg Boss sets (which he was visiting to promote his film Ghayal Again) after being kept waiting for hours. Well, this week, Sunny was back on the sets — thanks to BB host Salman Khan’s intervention. And this time, Salman briefed his team well to ensure that there were no glitches.
“Salman informed the team in no uncertain terms that what had happened (Sunny being kept waiting the week before) was simply not acceptable. He told them that he held Sunny, and his father Dharmendra, in very high regard, and that the Ghayal star should be treated with the utmost respect when he returned to the sets,” a little birdie from the sets told us.
With an injunction like that from the big man himself, the BB team was on its toes to ensure that every courtesy was extended to Sunny when he revisited the BB sets.
“From the moment that he stepped onto the sets, the shoot was completed within half an hour — not a single minute was wasted,” our source reports. “The contestants, too, were instructed to stay put in their places throughout the shoot and not wander around the house in between breaks. The last time Sunny was made to wait for 5 to 6 hours, and Salman took it on as a personal responsibility that Sunny wouldn’t be inconvenienced again.” All’s well that ends well, we say!
