Mumbai: Recently, Katrina and Ranbir were snapped embracing each other in their balcony and soon the news spread like wildfire. When asked Katrina about her romantic kiss and Kapoor's brunch at the trailer launch of 'Fitoor', she just ignored the question sportingly and remained tight lipped. Aditya Roy Kapoor, her on-screen lover, came in Katrina's defend and told the media to talk about their chemistry in the film and keep it to that.
Katrina's affair with Ranbir is not a lesser known fact. Her equation with him and his family is an open book. When asked the actress about the resemblance of the tagline of 'Fitoor' to her real life love story, she laughed and replied, "This is one of the truest line. Love is not easy in real life."
Recently, the makers had released the first look of Aditya Roy Kapoor who plays the role of Noor in the film. The actor's chiseled body created shock waves amongst his female fan following the moment his first look from the film found its way on the internet. At the trailer launch, when asked his body, the actor said, "I starved to get in shape and worked very hard on my body for a year and half." "I also took special Urdu diction training for the film." He added.
'Fitoor' is based on the book 'The Great Expectation', the role of Miss Havisham is played by Tabu. Earlier, this role went onto evergreen Rekha. After filmming few scenes, the veteran star walked out of the film. Eventually the role fell into Tabu's kitty. Rumors were doing the rounds that thr creative difference between Rekha and director Abhishek Kapoor was the reason for this split. When asked Abhishek about this incident, he clarified, "Rekha was so generous to me. She is a very loving lady. Unfortunately we couldn't work together this time but definitely we will be working in future. Within three days, Tabu came on board to rescue us. I was upset when I heard the rumors of Rekha ji and me about bad bonding. It wasn't like that ever."
Katrina Kaif, who remains talk of the town, is playing the love interest of Aditya, Firdaus.In the film, the actress plays Tabu's daughter. When asked Katrina about her challenges while shooting with Tabu, she replied with a smile, "Calling her mother was so difficult. She doesn't look like my mother at all. We are friends." Impressed by her comment, Tabu said "Katrina is the most dedicated actress I have worked with."
The film stars Aditya Roy Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Tabu in the leads. Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor, who last directed 'Kai Po Che' in association with UTV motion pictures, have joined hands again witht the production house for this epic tale of passionate love.
