Akshay Kumar attends a Premier Badminton League match in the city

Bollywood action superstar Akshay Kumar attended day 2 of the Premier Badminton League in Mumbai on Sunday. The actor, who is the the brand ambassador of the sports league and also co-owns the Mumbai Rockets team suited up for his first appearance at the event.

Aki, who has made his mark in the industry as a martial arts superstar, revealed in an interview that he loved playing badminton as a kid. Akshay is the newest star to join the ranks of celebrities with their own sports team.

The actor, who has a successful 2015, is all set to launch his next film ‘Airlift’ which has been directed by Raja Menon and also stars Nimrat Kaur.
