Hyderabad: Chief Minister and TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao will soon hit the road, to campaign for his party for the GHMC elections. Panchayat raj minister K.T. Rama Rao, who revealed this, said that the TRS will win 80-plus seats as per a latest survey while the Congress will have to be content with single digit.
He said the TRS would soon come out with an exclusive manifesto for the GHMC polls. Mr Rama Rao said that the TRS government would ensure that TS gets its share of funds and schemes. “We will come out the details of what Centre has given to TS. We will put it before the people to judge,” Mr Rama Rao said.
To a question, he said that the TRS was growing stronger by the day in Hyderabad city, “There is a ‘feel good’ factor in Hyderabad now. The city has been trouble-free since 18 months and it will continue to be. Seemandhra people too would accept this,” Mr Rama Rao said.
