Visakhapatnam: Senate member of AU and Director of AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry, O. Naresh Kumar wrote an open letter to CM Chandrababu Naidu about the land encroachments in Vizag city on Wednesday. The issue was also discussed at the AU Senate meeting, held in AU on Wednesday. Mr. Kumar requested Mr. Naidu to appoint a senior special officer with magisterial powers to remove all encroachments and recover land in a time bound manner.
He also suggested of setting up a special fast track court for settling all government encroached lands of GVMC, Vuda and revenue department. “The revenue department should publish a list of all encroached lands with detailed survey numbers and current value of the land on the website of district collector,” he added.
