Bengaluru: It’s raining deals for city dwellers, planning to either go pub-hopping this New Year’s Eve or to the outskirts of the city. Cab services in Bengaluru are wooing customers with huge offers which include discounts, cash-back and other promotional freebies.

Uber cab services have partnered with Steppinout to give its customers access to the best nightlife in the city. This offer is exclusively available to Uber travellers - they can score points to win tickets to these amazing parties,” says, Bhavik Rathod, GM – South and West, Uber India.
Cab services are also offering a fresh meru promo code- A free ride worth '200 on signing up as a new customer.
“There are also additional coupons and discounts on the booking of Meru cabs,” says a call centre executive of Meru cab services.
Explaining to Deccan Chronicle about one of its offers, an Ola executive says, “Ola is offering a ‘Flat 20% off’ on all its rides. This week, people will get a 20% off upto '75 on rides when payment is made with OLA Money. All you have to do is open the OLA app, select your ride, hit ‘RIDE NOW’, apply the code and avail the discount on your cab ride. This offer is valid only on selection of mini and saloon cars and your Ola Money Account should have a balance of at least '100.”
Apart from booking cabs on mobile apps, people are also browsing online to check various sites offering unique deals for cab rides. “I booked a ride to the airport through an internet site, using a coupon code, which gave me a ‘Ride in Style’ option to Bengaluru Airport at just '599,” says Girish who is on a three-day vacation to Goa for New Year. Many websites are offering New Year coupons and discount codes for December.
“On New Year's Eve, Uber's priority is to make transportation convenient and hassle-free, and to get people from point A to point B safely. Uber will be sending out Pro Tips to its riders, of its existing safety features in-app which are backed by the best in-class technology,” says Bhavik Rathod who adds, “Riders can also see the route on the map in the app. The real-time location is clearly marked, so riders know where they are during their journey—and whether they are on the right route.”
