Telangana: Gang of six held for 150 thefts

Hyderabad: North Zone police arrested six persons of a gang which was involved in 150 cases of theft in Telangana and other states.

Police said the offenders used to target commercial establishments. “They would look for establishments which do not have central locks to their shutters. They would return at night and break open the locks after the police patrol moves away from the area.” said a senior police official from the North Zone. They would complete the operation in three to four minutes and escape, he said.The officer said that out of the six, five were unmarried and would spend the booty to purchase liquor and visit brothels.
