One of television’s most popular shows, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, faced a setback recently after many of its crewmembers fell ill at the same time. It happened after the unit filmed a stunt sequence. A source from the production team reveals, “For the sequence, the crew had to be in water for around 10 hours."
"The shift that day had started at 7 in the morning and they packed up only at 3 in the night. It had to look like a mid-evening sequence. The next day many crewmembers had fallen sick, some of them even got rashes after shooting in dirty water for long hours."
"The show has no bank of episodes and we’re having a tough time in delivering an episode, while battling health issues. That’s why each episode is taking longer to shoot than usual, leaving the team with no day offs.”
