The star is taking a breather before she hits the ground running in 2016.
Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra has packed her bags and flown out of the city to an undisclosed location, for a much needed break. After flying back and forth from the US juggling between her new television show ‘Quantico’ and filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
The actress, who only caught a screening of the film early this week, took to her social networking handle to wish her fans the best of the New Year. Her message read: Off off and away...Much needed...Wishing everyone wonderful holidays...Feel loved and smile...Xoxo.
PC also shared a picture with her director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, with a caption that read, ‘Admiration always.. What an artiste u r #sanjayLeelaBhansali love u always.’
Although her film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ started off slow at the box-office, it has almost caught up to Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’. Recent reports state that the film has raked in Rs.240 crore, while ‘Dilwale’ collected Rs.280 crore in the Indian market.
Priyanka has another hectic year to look forward to. The star will be seen next in Prakash Jha's upcoming film ‘Jai Gangaajal’, that is slated to hit theatres on March 4. She will also be heading back to the US to continue to work on ‘Quantico’, that has been extended because of its popularity and growing viewership.
