Mumbai: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is many different things to different people, but a fashion icon? The actor, who was in Kolkata, shooting for his upcoming thriller ‘TE3N’, returned home on Tuesday, in time for New Year celebrations.
Keeping up with modern fads, Amitabh was spotted leaving the airport in a purple winter jacket, track pants and a florescent coloured pair of shoes. Going by the actor’s post on his personal blog, this fashion choice, was well though of.
Amitabh wrote about the recent craze fans and the media have of keeping track of celebrity fashion statements at the airport. Poking fun at such columns in a tongue-in-cheek way, he said: There are now special editions within the main editions of magazines, which give information only of the garments worn when celebrities fly out and come back in ..
Which as you all know is a huge exercise in memory and clothing ware detail .. gosh ! what did I wear the last time I stepped out to the airport .. no must not be snapped wearing the same bag or jeans or dress again .. so keep a diary that gives details on just this and keeps you from that horrible feeling of being in possession of just one pair of clothing at airports .. !!!
Amitabh also rubbished recent reports that stated the megastar would soon be ‘retiring’ from the film industry.
