Trisha is known to spend every New Year with her gang of friends, and it is no different this year either. The actress had a fantastic year with six hit movies including Yennai Arindhaal, Lion, Thoongavanam and ending the year with Bhooloham. Taking an extended break, Trisha set off for the West Coast, US, and celebrated Christmas there with a few friends. She will be ushering in the New Year (2016) in San Francisco.
Speaking to DC from America, the bubbly actress said, “I am happy and content that 2015 treated me so well. The year was very hectic with six of my films getting released in Tamil and Telugu put together and all of them were well-received. I wanted to take a lengthy break and travel the US and its West Coast with my friends.”
The svelte beauty adds, “I landed in Vegas and then went to Grand Canyon and Napa Valley. I had an awesome time spending Christmas in the Valley, which is known for some of the best wines. The whole place wore a festive look with lovely decorations all over. The weather was also pleasant.”
Since it’s the skiing season at the famous Lake Tahoe, the actress who is fond of adventure sports is taking short lessons in it as well. “Yes, we are all here at Lake Tahoe and started the basic ski and snowboard lessons. I am sure this exploration is going to be an enjoyable ride,” she gushes. On a concluding note, Trisha says that she will be travelling to San Francisco where she will celebrate the New Year.
